Our band is a dedicated community performance band for Williamsburg, the Historical Triangle, and the surrounding areas. We are focused on great music and fellowship. No competition pressure or drama.

Our pipers and drummers practice once a week on
Wednesday evenings.
We show up, play great tunes, and go home.

Being a member of our band is perfect for busy professionals, students, military personnel, and retirees.

We are always looking for new people interested in joining the band, whether you are new to playing instruments or have experience playing solo or in other bands.

  • We offer lessons for bagpipes, tenor, snare, and bass drums to all skill levels- from absolute beginners to seasoned competitors, in an effort to improve the band as a whole.

    We also offer 10% off Dojo lessons when going through the band.

  • For beginning pipers, a practice chanter and the desire to learn is all you need to get started. Pipers playing with the band are expected to provide their own pipes, but we provide kilts and sporrans.

    For beginning drummers, the band provides practice pads and sticks. Drummers playing with the band are provided with a uniform and drums.

  • Practices are held from 6:15 to 8:30, every Wednesday night in Colonial Williamsburg. Contact the band for the address and come join us!

  • Our goal is to have learners kilted and playing with the full band in under two years from beginning, but a faster timeline is possible depending on how quickly beginners progress. Experienced pipers and drummers can play with the band immediately.
