You are invited to join us for a historic event in Williamsburg, Virginia to celebrate Her Majesty's 70 years on the throne.
The ceremony begins at 9:00pm at the Wren Building and will include bagpipes, the reading of proclamations and conclude with the lighting of colonial cressets at 9:45pm local time, as prescribed by Buckingham Palace.
Similar celebrations will be happening around the world, hour-by-hour. This is a great opportunity for disparate nations, communities, faiths and generations to join together in fellowship and camaraderie.
This event is free and open to the public. Dress is casual and may include red, white, and blue or purple in honor of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. Fancy hats are encouraged!
